I've used this and I've used the TKTX brand and find Zensa more reliable for numbing. I have tons of tattoos and rarely use cream but for some spots I have. Zensa was used on my second calf tattoo, my upper stomach/ribs, and the back of my knee. It absolutely helped. It wasn't completely numb like some others claim they experienced, but I'd give it a 4/10 which on those spots makes a HUGE difference! It does wear off though, so be warned when it does it will hurt a LOT more if they need to keep going!!

I’m a heavily tattooed person.

I have my neck, stomach, full arm sleeves, and my legs are half way done.
In my 10 years of getting tattooed
with long sessions that go up to 10 hours of work in one day on my body I’ve never used numbing gels.
I’ve always thought of tattooing numbing gel to be silly and kinda lame-O ish. I think I’ve earned it at this point so I said what the heck let me try it.
When I tell you how SHOCKED I was when I didn’t feel a damn thing for the first two hours.
( my current tattoo artist has a super heavy hand mind you )
Didn’t feel it. The tattoo was right above my knee, and slightly going into my inner thigh.

I was getting a rather large rib tattoo and started looking into numbing creams for the process. It worked so so well! I expected it to just take the bite out of the pain but I was totally numb and felt 0/10 pain.
Only thing I’ll comment on was when I first wiped it off, my skin was very pink. It wasn’t burning or itching but did look strange. The color went away I’d say within 15-20 minutes.
